Description

Azerigaz Closed Joint-Stock Company was established in 1996. Azerigaz Closed Joint-Stock Company was reorganized in July 2009 by the decree of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan on improvement of management of oil and gas industry and currently continues its activities within SOCAR as "Azerigaz" production Union.
“Azerigaz” accepts natural gas from the supply points in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, carries out distribution and sale. It consists of employees of scientists, engineers, employees and technical personnel who combine repair and construction department, warehouse and other production departments. The Union provides more than 2.1 million consumers with natural gas, covering all regions of the country.
The activity of the union is regulated on the basis of the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, International Standards, other normative acts, internal normative documents of SOCAR in this field and the Charter of the Union.
